Departments

Primary Care includes our services of assessment, prevention, wellness, and treatment for patients. We work with individuals to determine their present condition as well as the best course ahead in developing treatment plans. We work closely with all our departments to provide integrated and seamless care.

Cognitive Therapy uses repetitive tasks that stimulate neural activity to reinforce, strengthen, and heal brain behavior deficits. Neuroplasticity creates new patterns of activity and compensatory mechanisms for the impaired neurological systems.

Behavior Health offers a broad range of assessments to diagnose and treat with individual and group therapy. We support the physical, emotional, and relational issues that are part of the healing process. Our team of psychologists and experienced clinicians utilize a number of resources, especially cognitive behavior therapy, to walk with our patients throughout their rehabilitation.

Physical Therapy develops an individualized treatment plan to attain the highest possible functional recovery. Patients can expect to engage in a combination of cardio, weights, stretches, neuro reduction, box lifts, and community/work simulation as part of their treatment.

Occupational Therapy (OT) assists patients to improve motor skills, balance, vision, hearing, and coordination. OT is a blend of mental, physical, and psychological exercises to enable patients to develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working (everyday tasks).

Brain Injury (BI) utilizes neuropsychology, cognitive, behavioral, physical, and occupational therapy. BI focus on treating cognitive dysfunction caused by trauma. Clinicians customize each treatment plan to successfully return our patients to the highest level of function possible (4-6 hours a days, 4-6 weeks).

Work Hardening blends physical therapy, occupational therapy as well as behavioral tools to help overcome functional and work deficits and to facilitate successful transition to a productive work environment. Strength and endurance training, functional activity training, and work simulation are used to build useful vocational skills. Behavioral therapy addresses psychosocial and vocational deficits which may be present in a prolonged work injury recovery (6 hours a day, 15 to 20 days).

Work Conditioning equips an injured worker though more intense physical therapy. These patients are typically not able to return to their previous position. These workers may be off work or performing on a limited basis (3 to 6 hours a day M-F, 10-20 days)
